Youngstown State University’s Military Science program, in partnership with the Army ROTC, is designed to develop confident, capable leaders—both in military and civilian careers. Whether you aspire to serve as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army or want to strengthen your leadership skills for any career path, ROTC at YSU offers unmatched preparation.
ROTC is not a major—it’s a leadership program you take alongside your degree. Cadets can major in any field offered at YSU, from Nursing to Criminal Justice to Business or Engineering.
