The Medical Laboratory Science (MLS) Advanced Placement Program at Youngstown State University (YSU) is tailored for working professionals who are already certified Medical Laboratory Technicians (MLTs). This online degree completion pathway allows you to advance to a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science (BSMLS) while continuing to work full-time. 

Our program offers a flexible model that recognizes and awards credit for verified workplace experience, reducing redundancy and accelerating your progress. Coursework is delivered fully online in convenient seven-week sessions, so you can manage your studies alongside your professional responsibilities.
