Exclusive to our online program are two unique concentrations, each offering a two, three, or four-year completion program. Health Education Concentration

Our Health Education Concentration equips students with key knowledge, tools and skills to promote health and prevent disease within communities. As a health education professional, you’ll be equipped to develop, implement, and evaluate health programs across diverse populations, focusing on improving public health through knowledge, health behaviors, and community efforts. Our online format provides the flexibility to learn anywhere, anytime – placing a premium education experience at your fingertips.

Generalist Concentration

Our generalist concentration provides a well-rounded public health education, allowing students the flexibility to select a combination of courses from both the health education/promotion concentration, as well as the environmental health concentration. This empowers students to create an experience that best fits their interests and schedule while meeting all program requirements.

Environmental Health Concentration

For students with a passion for environmental stewardship, our Environmental Health Concentration focuses on the concept of health protection, including the control of biological, chemical, and physical hazards to aid in disease prevention. As a graduate, you will be able to examine, analyze, and manage environmental hazards that could negatively impact public health. By scrutinizing air, soil, and water quality, you’ll play an instrumental role in mitigating risks and crafting healthier environments for our future generations.

Accelerated Pathway to a Master’s Degree with the 4+1 Option

We offer an accelerated 4+1 program option leading to the Master of Public Health (MPH), making the transition to advanced learning seamless for our students.
