DALS: Sidney Mullis
The YSU Department of Art presents a lecture by guest artist Sidney Mullis as part of the Department of Art Lecture Series.
Mullis is a sculptor who is currently building a make-believe forest in which our childhood selves retreat to during adulthood. Her other work has focused on puberty, the intimacy of forgetting, and the performance of gender.
Mullis’ work can be viewed in the McDonough Museum of Art’s Winter Art Exhibition, on display beginning Tuesday, January 21, through Friday, February 28.
Entry to this lecture is free and open to the public. Parking is available in the Wick Avenue Deck (M30) for a $5 fee payable in cash only. The McDonough Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
