The YSU String Project
The YSU String Project offers free private lessons on violin, viola, cello, and bass to children in the greater Youngstown area. Students enrolled in the program can also sign up for chamber music, orchestra, and technique classes on Saturdays, which are taught by graduate and undergraduate string majors in the Dana School of Music. The project seeks to train the next generation of young artists, simultaneously serving area children and training college students in excellent education practices through faculty supervision.
