Bachelor of Science in Applied Science in Electrical Engineering Technology

Bachelor of Science in Applied Science
in Electrical Engineering Technology

Program Overview

Students in EET BSAS are prepared to assist with planning, designing, inspecting, and directing electrical engineering projects involving electrical systems, industrial automation, smart grid and power distribution, and computer networking systems. Graduates of a BSAS degree program obtain employment as engineers or engineering designers. The students focus on digital electronics communication systems, smart grid and power distribution, and computer networking systems. In addition, students have opportunities to do internships or co-ops with various local companies to gain experience and income during their junior and senior years.

In most states our graduates are qualified to take the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam and, with sufficient work experience, the Professional Engineers (PE) exam.
