Program Overview

The YSU Physics program provides students with research experiences beyond the typical course work of a university physics program. Students can distinguish themselves from students of other larger or smaller physics programs by working with YSU faculty members, experts in a variety of fields in physics, on projects using and operating state-of-the-art equipment. Because of the unique organization of the YSU STEM College, YSU physics students have access to extensive internships and job placements that are often unavailable to science students.
