Welcome to the Master of Science in Environmental Science program at Youngstown State University. Our engaging program offers a platform to explore and understand the complex interactions of biological, physical, and chemical processes in the environment.
Our immersive 32-credit curriculum dive deep into vital environmental concepts, such as ecosystem analysis, environmental pollution, conservation biology, and environmental law, shaping the students to be proficient in handling the challenges our environment faces today.

Our Master’s program is designed for students with an undergraduate background in biology, chemistry, geology, or related natural science disciplines. Graduates of our Master of Science in Environmental Science program are prepared for a multitude of roles in government, academia, and private sectors. Potential job titles include environmental scientists, sustainability managers, conservation planners, and environmental policy analysts.
