There is no application fee for any current EGCC students who apply to YSU. Please use code “EGCC” as the fee waiver code on the application.
Contact the admissions office 330-941-2000 with any questions about the application process, or visit us at the Steubenville campus on March 11 and Youngstown campus on March 12 and March 18.
EGCC has developed a process with YSU to send your transcript to YSU for free. After you submit the YSU application, you will receive a confirmation email with an EGCC portal link. Click the link to complete the permission release form that will allow EGCC to send your transcripts to YSU.
YSU will conduct a transfer credit evaluation and determine how your undergraduate coursework from EGCC and other colleges will transfer to YSU for your program completion.
We encourage you to add the YSU school code 003145 on your FAFSA application as soon as possible.
If you plan to attend any part of the summer 2024 semester and use financial aid, you need to have the 2024-25 FAFSA completed.

No. As an EGCC student, your application fee is waived. Once you submit your application, on the payment page, make sure to enter EGCC in the promotion code box.
